During working hours, people do not have the same freedoms they have outside these hours. An employee is, however, entitled to privacy at the workplace and protection of his or her personal data that are processed within the scope of the employment relationship. This protection applies from the start of the employment relationship (applying for the job) up to and including the termination of this relationship. Special attention is paid to handling personal data regarding sick employees and monitoring employees by telephone or using a camera and monitoring their e-mail and Internet use.
