Curriculum vitae

Wilbert B.M. Tomesen was appointed Commissioner on 1 December 2011. He is chiefly responsible for the tasks of the Dutch DPA regarding police, justice and public administration.

Mr. Tomesen  (1958) was formerly chief public prosecutor in the district of Zwolle and deputy chief public prosecutor in the district Almelo. Before that, he acted as chief public prosecutor in The Hague and in Aruba.

Mr. Tomesen obtained his Dutch Law degree at the University of Utrecht.
