Pursuant to Article 77(2) Wbp (Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens; Dutch Data Protection Act), the Dutch DPA has the task of advising the Minister of Justice regarding the granting of permits for the transfer of personal data to a third country that does not offer any guarantees for an adequate level of protection.
